I have to count the missing letters to get a number. Be grateful of any help here. never do puzzles. Thanks.

Thanks. Could be songs ? Never know with geocaching puzzles. I am hopeless never can work them out. I have two more to do lol.

i presumed you have to count how many letters are missing in the clues for the answer (it does seem to be all vowels apart from the V in the 2nd one - maybe a mistake?).
and they all seem to be number one singles from the 50's.
is, 'DRMLVR (&) WHN' exactly how it is written?

...if it is supposed to be 2 separate clues there was a number 1 in 1958 by 'The Kalin Twins' called 'When'.

Yes "When" is the answer. Thanks to everyone's help I have solved this puzzle and two more. If I am pointed in the right direction I can usually manage to work out the puzzles. Thanks everyone
