Can somebody tell me if I'm going round the bend or not (that's asking for it!)? I could have sworn that threads were listed oldest first. Now suddenly they're latest first and if I want to follow one, I have to go to the bottom of the pile so to speak. Is it me, who has inadvertently altered some settings or is it the site?

I think I'm right in saying that the threads are automatically re-ordered every time a comment is added, so the newest threads/repliues rise to the top.

click on 'edit' by your name, and then scroll down until you come to 'settings'. you can then readjust it so that you see the latest post first.

Thanks each. Isn't it amazing what one can do with a touch sensitive android and not realise. I don’t even remember going to the edit screen , never mind altering the order. THE MACHINE HAS TAKEN OVER! I WILL OBEY WILLINGLY ITS EVERY COMMAND.

Why would anyone want to see the reply before the question?!
There was a problem before when we had to scroll to the end of a very long thread (like Poser of the day) but we now have the 'last' button.

Note that if you are browsing the forum without logging in, you will see the posts "oldest at the top"
This is the default setting. Once you have logged in, the order will appear as your personal preference

Aha! Thanks Rossim and Jazzgirl. That explains it. I trained the phone to recognise my password, so now it automatically logs me in every time I come onto the site. As for your comment Rossim, I tend not to look at poser of the day. The only long ones I tend to look at is RT or Everyman usually after I've finished or very nearly, so that I can feel smug and also avoid spoilers. Though having said that. I counted 6 threads for Everyman today but not looked at any yet as not finished with my brain
