I'm having difficulty in parsing. I remember pre ww2 my mother putting my fathers snap up each day for his lunch. Am I on the right lines Malone?

My parsing is often useless. I thought this was just Snack = snap and counter = one scoring (in a board game, say). Snack Counter = bar.

No, these last two weeks I've finished then without needing to ask for help but I do sometimes look at the Answer Bank ,which gave us ZOEFORM

Anyone find the Scots references too much? D and B I mean. You are supposed to know that Rab C is a code word for Scottish.

I don't mind the Scots/Scottish references, but I dislike/have difficulty with the 'Spenser' clues - there was one today.
