Are you positive that all the letters are correct for the coastal town?

or if it were a coastal COUNTY, it could be Suffolk?

Could your 'k' be wrong, jinty?
In which case, it could be Seaford?(on coast of East Sussex)

58 could be rapid which would give you the D but I don't know what other letters you have placed for this clue

If 58 was Swift, that'd give you a 't' and 'coastal town' could perhaps be Seaport?

I like Malone's idea of a general term- seaport .
I've been concentrating on a specific name - a proper noun.
