Glad of help with any of the following:-

1d (6) 'College avoiding quibbles about article's benefits'. I've got ?v?i?s and know 'avoids' fits, but surely not as the word appears in the clue.

9a (4) ' Items regularly removed rom market band'. I've got ?a?e and can only think of 'make'

23d (4) 'Last instruction of subroutine direct from computer experts. I've got e?i? and am thinking 'edit' or even 'exit'.

24a (4) 'Deliveries? Fielder dropping first'. I've got o?e? and can only think of 'over' as in cricket but don't see the rest of the clue.
