have you looked up the first part of the answer in Chambers?

hello again
Yes....looked in Chambers "feed abundantly"....great - how clever of you.
This one has had me puzzled for weeks now - trying to prove to myself that I had the right answer (but unconvinced)
I'm sure you are right with number 44 too.

Yes, of course Neville is very clever (and devious) These Rainbow Quizzes are always a pleasure to do and keep the brain very active.
I did note the alternative spelling which threw me as well as the definition of the other part of the answer.
I've not finished yet but am almost there now.
Crossword Forum is a great site - in spite of some of the objections some additional clues are a real Godsend.

Just posted a request and stupidly labelled it STUCK. It was meant for the G and T forum so if anyone can help, I would be very grateful. Thanks.
