Hi there,

Am a bit stuck on the following:-

21d (5) 'Wagon taking middle part of some cannon'. I think it's c?r?m

Also, 4d (3,6) 'Files not initially about man in veterans'. I think it's o?d ?i?e?s and am tempted to just go for 'old timers' but I can't really see how that fits the clue.

4 D. Old Timers has 'folders', files ('not initially' means to remove the'f') and Tim is the 'man'.

21 Carom - car plus middle letters of some...cannon = carom

(f)OLDERS about TIM

Files = (f)olders around Tim.

......carom = cannon in billiards
