I'm not sure what you mean - 'I want to see how close I was to the answers for these'. Do you mean you have answers and aren't sure if they're correct or do you just want to be given (more) answers?

Thanks for that, Lecrack - I'd perhaps jumped to the wrong conclusion, thinking you just had a long shopping list of answers you wanted! I hope you have them all sorted now. I found this a quite enjoyable and quite easy Spectator crossword, not always the case.

I have managed to sort out my answers now and have got the name of the author, but am experiencing some difficulty in solving all the unclued lights. I'll keep trying and if I do not get them all, I'll ask for some suggestions based on what I have found. Thanks again!
