4. From the sound of it, took a chunk out of the one with the short fat hairy legs (7)
5. Strugglin' to get enough air perhaps (6)
6. A well-known crossing (7)
7. Sounds like you've got a male bird trained to follow you close behind (9)
8. An invoice for cutlery (9)
9. Sounds like a Scot is declaring ownership of the middle part of a Cox's Pippin (5)
10. Something you really don't want to win (5)

Escher's clues are all from a previous bird quiz by Paul. So not sure if hannah wants new ones ?

The fun of helping someone in an original fashion has gone for me.
Maybe numerous questions from previous quizzes could be posted.

Alan has also posted all the answers so a bit of googling is all that is needed. No fun in that :(
