12A: "Slight mark on score" (4) - Have got SLUR = a slight but can not see how? Explanation will be gratefully received!

a slur is also a direction on a music score.

as well as an unfavourable remark (a slight).

Thank you trevor - I did not know slur was a musical term! Annoyed with myself cos I do usually refer to my dictionary to check up on alternative meanings! Think my brain had got stuck on a score being twenty! Cheers.
