Hi, Chris!

I didn't realise that you are living in Lancashire (saw your thread when I was browsing thro to see what I'd missed when out!) For some reason when you'd mentioned the Pennines, I'd assumed you were on the Yorkshire side! I originally hail from Lancs ( Bolton) altho I've been down South now for many (!) years.

I'm originally from Devon, but now live in the disputed area (our stream eventually finds its way into the North Sea)

It sounds as though you are in the country then - some lovely countryside around both Lancashire and Yorkshire - it's not all cotton mills as some folk think!
(How does the Welsh element fit in? did you live there too?)

Only half welsh, and I've never lived there.
