like to clarify why answers to the following clues are so.

18 a answer is stroboscope from clue :

Flasher in a club (11).

25 a answer is apparition from clue:

How King Hamlet first appeared to Horatio ? (10).

Stroboscope is a flashing light you would see at a Disco.

As for 'Apparition', apart from the fact he did appear as an apparition, I can see no cryptic there.
