I am just checking to see if I can post a thread as I have had an email saying there are problems this morning with accessing the site and signing in to the Forum.

I have tried three times to reply to your thread.
A variety of operating systems., a variety of computors, all using google chrome.

It finally worked :-)

Just cant connect. Sometimes get the dreaded "404" message. Other times the little blue circle keeps rotating and nothing happens.
I have re-opened a new tab numerous times to get these messages to you.
"Houston we have problem".

I have texted Ash but I would ask you all to be patient if the fault(s) don't right themselves straightaway. Ash is on holiday with his young family and obviously it's not easy for him to perform his usual miracles from Lanzorate.

Llike Busby, i've tried several times to respond to your post, Norah! I'm now using Google Chrome for this site as you suggested but having great difficuilty- first in logging on and then in moving from thread back to Forum - this is the fourth attempt !

I had one of those "oops" messages on Google Chrome this morning, on laptop, but iPad (mobile safari) no problems at all.

Thanks Busby, Elle and Jazzgirl. The problems seem intermittent but obviously it is working at the moment, albeit at its own pace! Ash hasn't got back to me yet but I will keep an eye on the situation between going to B&Q (10% off day for us Silver Surfers) and deadheading my bedding plants.
