Yesterday, MacAfee kept notifying me across the Crossword Solver screen that they were blocking some of the content as it was a security risk (hasn't occurred today tho')
Have you had that happen?

I don't suppose this really helps but I use an iMac with Safari and it's trouble-free.

Elle, that's what i mean about third party pop-ups trying to open - although it's worth bearing in mind that i don't know what i'm talking about.

I've just sent Ash a postscript telling him about the MacAfee warnings and referring him to this thread. Fingers crossed it may be possible to do something about it.....

I've had a quick look at that, rambler. but it isn't as though we have only just installed MacAfee - we've always had it and everything was working fine until yesterday. And we're not having problems with any other site?
I'm not very computer literate (!) and wouldn't know what to do about it anyway! but if the problem persists, I will ask my daughter to have a look at the you've very kindly sent (she has a computer-science degree and usually sorts me out!)

I'm probably wrong, elle, but does seem strange that my experience of the site is so different from yours and others - hope it's sorted for you soon.

Hi Elle

Like you don't know enough about the bones of a PC but get by, change your browser as I don't have a problem with this site.

Cheers. Linda

Morning, Linda!
Actually, I don't think that will help, as others who use a different browser from me are also having problems with it!
I think you said that you use Google Chrome? you are finding no problems with that, but chrise who also uses Google chrome is having similar difficulties to me.
Incidentally, I've been using IE with this site for several months now with no problem until this week.
Going out with the dog now....have a nice day........

I've got IE, Chrome, and Firefox. Firefox is by far better for this site than IE. No advertising, and logs me in automatically with one touch of the "enter" key!
