We can't make head nor tail of some of the entries so we don't feel qualified to vote and are abstaining.

Pretty sure I can parse any if you would like to reconsider "gents".

Thanks for the offer, ginge, but we feel the competition has become too esoteric for us and we'd rather leave it to the others.

A quick update with syzygy and busby yet to vote. As to be expected with only 9 setters, all clues are still in with a chance of winning with fieryjack @ 7 currently leading having polled 2.
Sorry you feel as you do J&S and I hope it's not indirectly as a result of me changing the preamble.
