Hi
I was getting this a lot yesterday afternoon:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.crosswordsolver.org
Is this the sort of thing you suffer from? Fortunately it seems to have cleared up (I did Email Ash abut it, but he said he hadn't had any other reports).

I don't think it was at my end, as other sites I was using worked normally.

I'm not trying to butt in, Chris, but I've been having the same problem lately with "normal" Google, and don't think the problem is at my end, either. It's not always a problem, but sometimes, and until recently I'd never had it. Anyone else experiencing the same? Sometimes it just won't connect further, e.g onto the next page.

I had exactly the same problem yesterday, too, Chris. The message only occurred when trying to connect to the Crossword Solver site; I didn't have any trouble elsewhere. No problems today though (fingers crossed)

Seems OK today.

I've had this problem every day for years. The site will be unavailable for, say, twenty minutes at a time. When I do get on, I'll try to post something and get knocked off again. I usually use IE, but the same thing happens with Chrome, and with my desk top, laptop, tablet, and iPhone. Whenever I type a message I copy it before submitting because it so often disappears and might take nine or ten tries to work. I thought it might be a US thing because no one else seemed to be having this trouble.

And it happens only with this site.

I also use Internet Explorer and, as I said before, the problem only occurred with this site. However, I should perhaps have mentioned that I also kept getting messages from MacAfee yesterday telling me that the site was 'unsafe'. That too only happened yesterday and so far no further problems......
