Is clue 34 significant?

Hi Malone, the answer to is SCROOGE so yes it gives us MISER but it's the definition I'm more interested in.

Brilliant Chris, that's inspired!! Something that 'Mists', First i was caught out by 'Singer', then 'Number' and now 'Mister' - will I ever learn? Many thanks Chris and Malone.

22d Atomiser - 34 refers to the clue 34d the answer to which is Scrooge. This gives you miser. I can't quite parse the first bit but an atomiser is a mister.

Brendan (& chrise) ~ "who's" is "who has" rather than "who is" in this case, so the solution works. Possibly deliberate ambiguity by the setter.
