14 across A monther's dumfounded by last letter
z-d well it has to be zed but why?

Then 22 across (3) Deep layer miles away sea, just got that as I typed sea(m) m off away

and 26 across (3) Once called number with ease, say

n-e and I have no idea

A ma (mother I assume rather than monther) with zed gives amazed- dumbfounded?

Nee - once called - n with ees (sounds like ease)?
