If three pickle pickers can pick four pickles in 2 minutes then how many pickle pickers are needed to pick 200 pickles in one hour?

Are the pickle pickers pickled?
Depends on how pickled the pickle pickers are.

That's very like the old tongue twister about Peter Piper, busby.
"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper. IF Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper, where's the peck of pickled pepper, Peter Piper picked?"

How do you pick a pickle? It's not a pickle until it has been pickled!

The three pickers would pick 120 in an hour, so in order to get 200 you would need to increase the pickers in the ratio 200/120

(200/120) x 3 = 5

If 3 can pick 4 in 2 mins,
then 1 can pick 4/3 in 2 mins ie 4/6 in 1 min
so 1 can pick 4/6 x 60 in 60 mins ie 1 can pick 40 in 60 mins
therefore 5 can pick 200 in 60 mins
