Can anyone help with parsing these...

6d. Short game fish (7) - SARDINE (Fish)

Article used in part exchange rated badly at one's place of business (5,2) - TRADE IN (Article in part exchange) I can see 'TRADE' is an anagram of 'Rated' but where does the 'IN' come from?

sardines
A game where one person hides, and the other friends split up and look for that person. If they find the hiding person, they have to hide with the hiding person until everyone is hiding in one place. The last person to find the hiding group is the loser and is the next hider.

6 The game is Sardines, so it's short, a fish.

Article used... IN - one's place of business, as in 'I'm in computers', 'I'm in finance', 'I'm in ladies' underwear'.

Sardines is a game, so "short" would be sardine but that seems a bit thin?
