c - Confused man in Los Angeles perhaps? (8)
d - Non-U fount of all knowledge (4)
e - A pipe may help this lay official in a parish church (12) - can't see how either churchwarden o sequestrator fit

g - You might have the highest aspiration in this Cathedral (9)
h - A metal, a bird and a place of worship (7,5)
