Can anyone advise me of the consequences of having to use tippex to amend an answer? Do the crossword judges look upon this as having to discount one's entry or is it perceived to be human error? If the former then there is no point in wasting a stamp.

I believe that as long as corrections are clear and legible they are allowed.
