Sorry, Basil, when I replied before, I hadn't noticed the earlier thread telling me about Curraghmore House and Gardens. I've just been reading all about it. It looks a splendid place - and has it's own Sitka Spruce, too!!!!!!
Are you the "Basil" referred to in the testimonial section?! Tell me more......it sounds very interesting......

I am guilty as charged!
Curraghmore is an amazing place and I'm privileged to do the tours. The family have lived in the place for ±800 years which makes it quite special.
I'd have kicked myself if I'd missed out on Sitka Spruce when the most famous one is right on my doorstep!

What a fascinating job........and you must get to meet some interesting people too, as I imagine folk come from far and wide to visit. Reading the testimonials , the visitors obviously much appreciate your guided tours.
