The solution was published on Sunday, but not the answers to the clues without definition where the "things" changed to men's names. Could anyone explain this one for me please?

Don't see a definition and can't understand how it's a man's name but Bias - shortly - bia + Pho (in Chambers as= foh -expression of contempt) gives Phobia? May be way off beam......

I think that must be right. I read in the original thread on here that these type of clues (there are a few more clued without definition) have answers that are listed under "thing" in Chambers. They are changed in the grid to men's names afterwards.
Thank you for the answer. I was going to ask for help with a few of the others, but it is such a convoluted device that I really don't understand or see the point of, so I won't bother.
