I struggling to grasp the parse on this last clue.

8d) Wanted things in agreement endlessly disrupted by party traitor (10)

I have: D - S - D - R - T -

I'm toying between 'DESIDERATA' & 'DESIDERATE'
DESIDERATA = Wanted things, or is it DESIDERATE = wanted - and then the wordplay?
