I think these are correct but need help with the parsing.....

10a. Marks that are made round extracts in speech (5) - RINGS? (Marks made round) Is it a homophone (in speech) of WRINGS (Extracts), or am I way off?

23d. President wanting vote to support acceptable alliance (5) - UNION (Alliance) I can't parse any of it.

24d. Width of character in complete illustration (4) - DEMO? (Illustration)

19a. Firm with load of mineral around tip (7) - FORECAST? (Tip) I'm not sure about this because 'Firm' usually means CO, but if it means 'FAST' + 'Mineral' = ORE then that leaves C, which could be 'Around' but then where is the instruction for 'Fast' to go around 'Ore'?

5d. Poet in past lacking focused vision (5) - BLEARY? Would fit the definition but I can't fin a poet of that name.

Mamya, I think 19a is fine - 'around' is 'c' for circa, rather than a position indicator.
Fast with load (Ie carrying) of ore + c.
