No worries - I never seem to be quick enough to help anyone so it looks like I am the "stupid one"!! Perhaps you can assist me with my final query? 10A "Sow in small unfinished Siamese house?" (7) SCATTER - S for small but can not find what a Siamese house called (unfinished or otherwise!) - CATTER????

I won't admit to how long I have been a crossword fan but will admit that I had never come across parse/parsing - this forum has educated me! Thank you!

Ha Ha - could see it must be SCATTER as in "We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land......." Did not think Siamese was as in CAT (puss!) Thank you!

Not so Finley I am also stupid (not really) but learning loads with these people on this site. You seem to be better than me though! The Thursday and Friday crosswords I have thrown in the bin!! And I boasted that I was actually finishing some of them which I was.
