I know I'm having a bit of a moan, but here are a couple more from other posts today.

Couple picked up food for early birds (YOLK)

Couple picked up (sounds like) a YOKE is not a 'couple', it is a device to couple a pair of oxen for eg.

Riverbank resident reduced charge for drink there. (WATER RAT[E])

What is with the superfluous 'there'
surely 'Riverbank resident reduced charge after drink'

I'm bewildered from my favourite X word setter.

Ps, thank you for your thoughts jazzy. : )

Annoys me when setter does this! 'Always' can be used in too many other contexts for it to be considered a synonym for 'last resort'.

I don't like the riverbank clue. However, yoke and couple can both be used as verbs
yoke(verb) to couple (two animals) to a yoke
