Hi have got somewhere to solving the problem of accessing Genius.
Go to Control Panel and search Java
Open Java and access security tab
Access Edit Site List
Add Genius URL
You may need to log out and log in to Guardian website again but this should get you to the crossword itself. But, I cannot access the correct print page so cannot add a URL for that. If anyone has this, please post a link.

I was nearly right: Instead of adding the Genius URL, add www.theguardian.com. You will get a prompt asking you to OK Java access and once you have accepted this it should all work OK.

The Print version on the Guardian website seems to be working now.
