10a. Allow no time at all for worker to rise (7) - EMPOWER

27a. Walk back without beginning to cry (4) - Y?L? I presume it's 'Yell' or 'Yelp' and thought it might be a word that, when reversed and without it's beginning means 'Walk', but I can't find any so think I may have gone wrong somewhere.

Remove T for time from

and

(T)OWER
