Help appreciated parsing these.....

25a. Eg. Nijinsky's regrets about being associated with book (7) - DANSEUR (Eg. Nijinsky) It's 'Regrets' = RUES (Rev), but why is DAN - 'being associated with book'?

28d. Lack of justification for playing cricket? Just the opposite (14) - GROUNDLESSNESS (Lack of justification) Other than crickets played at 'Grounds', I'm lost!

27a. Singer creating obstruction outside the King's Head? (6) - ?I?N?T I think this could be either LINNET - A Songbird (Singer) or SIGNET - A Seal (of a King's Head?) but as I can't parse either I 'll leave it to wiser heads.

Hi Mamya, I had discounted the 'Book of Daniel' because there is no instruction for it to be abbreviated and, even though I did Latin at school I didn't think 'In this way' and 'Thus' or 'So' were similar enough, although now I can see that they are virtually exact synonyms. Many thanks Mamya.
