10 down -crosses 17 across. two words(11 letters) for "the price of cleanliness?" i have "Laundry bill" which provides the "y" in 17 across. this answer fits all the across words involved except for17 across.
suggestions please!

ascribe - a scribe = attribute

thanks, chrisg. i should have got that, being a user of the bible! can you help with the last one i have from the same puzzle? Clue is "case that may be looked into" 5 letters, c?a?e. i worked out 8 possibilities and none connect with the clue---as far as i can see.

You cant do anything with posts once they have been posted. You just leave them on here. You can use the search facility if you ever need to look at a particular crossword/clue which may have been posted in the past.
