26ac has (4) but there are only 3 spaces on the grid. I'd is 3 or is the black line in the wrong place?
I've always loved that phrase on the passport too, hope they don't modernise it.

yes there are 6 similar clues that need to be entered in less spaces - these are the clashes which have to be resolved

OK, I give in. I have struggled through this but am left with 6ac l?c?es - I can't find this chap. Also I have the unchecked letters at 25ac and 26a missing and have no idea how to fill the gaps. The rest is I think fine, including the characters in both senses.

use the TA from anta and the 2nd U from usucapt to give TAU
