Not sure if that clue is brilliant, or if it lacks. My problem was the loss of the D (sound?).
After saying it out loud it does make sense, but still not thrilled with it.
Nobody has addressed 45A:

Second = SEC ?

I'm probably missing something here. Does anyone have a better explanation?
