The full version of the two names only produces 30 letters, so the shortened versions would be only 27. I have w******, p******, a***, a**. s****, r***. There must be another 3 letter word somewhere. But where?
5dn - whole word is expleained in Chambers - (Of code, second part). One thought flawless is g**, and a**(b) is almost Semite.
8dn is a complete mystery to me, and what seems to be the answer (a** j**) isn't in Chambers.
8dn is in Chambers, at the bottom of the entry for its second element. There is an Indian measure beginning with the second element reversed but "using jade for a" doesn't work. The one I really don't understand is 13dn : how does it relate to its definition?
I have completed the puzzle and got the message. However I am a little unclear about the guests. Does the message literally mean highlight on the crossword or does it mean to write one couple under the grid, thus highlighting them?
