11a. Cheap sort of dry wine, one with added sugar (6,4) - SECOND RATE (Cheap sort) I see SEC for 'Dry Wine' but not the rest.

22d. Like some seats - indication of space near stage (3,2) - TIP UP? How and why?

Hi Ixion, I can see how how the clue is constructed but it's why DRAT = Sugar that i'm puzzled about.

DORY is correct

R(egularl)Y gutted is RY on DO which is “cook” as in “do the dinner”

Dory looks okay - cook = do + the outside letters of Regularly - RY - regularly gutted = the inside letters removed from regularly
