M's, not N's! Got that now but still battling 1a and the rest of that corner, also 29a

Jogamel, the first word of 29a has the misprint. A short word for a Russian community followed by a common word for a long time.

Marca, you clearly then have the first 6 letters as I do , which appear on that basis to spell out the name of a card which when played 'recalls' cards from someone else's hand... Which fits the title perhaps, but then what do the next 5 letters mean?

Unfortunately I am missing one misprinted letter, so I have I,E,T and O. Not much sense there.

I think (but given the lack of sense in the result I'm not sure) that you're missing 33a - since the answer doesn't seem to be a 'mental' feature.

Well, I don't think mental has a misprint. Check under mentum in Chambers.

Yes you're obviously right. Assuming that the last 9 letters are supposed to spell two real words, it's hard to see where the other misprint is. Ho hum.

Got it - the other misprint is in 13a. Unusual spelling of the definition. Gives instruction as 4, 5, 2, 5, 4. And then it all makes sense. No Magic The Gathering.

No sorry! I may have the first word of instruction wrong. But the second 5 letter word is definitely there in the grid per Chambers definition. And still no Magic.
