Good night (and good morning] friends. I'm off to the distant optician's tomorrow morning and, so, I thought I'd post "5" before hitting the sack (Monday night). I hope to be back by 5 tomorrow. I don't believe this lot are as difficult as last week's offering, but what do I know? Happy solving. J

I set clues just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm (GMT - Tuesday) to allow others to have a go.

I have #2 and a great answer for #5 - this one is probably wrong, though!

#4 is delightful, I'm sure you're right jazzy. Still struggling to get to grips with #3 but I will persevere.
