I'm getting really puzzled by all the links to 16D. Is 1A. 16D of a life story biographer? If so how does it link in with 12, 15, & 23 across?

12A 16dn (6) 15A 16dn (6) 23A 16dn of dramas (10)

I'm obviously missing the point of all these links to 16 down!

ooh that came to me after getting 1 across, as a 'writer' of a life story.

Well you are much quicker on the uptake than me although I got biographer I was not sure it was correct so didn't have the confidence to think beyond it. I gave up at that point & started on the jumbo & then after a time I thought I would return to tackle it & decided to ask for help!

I do that some weekends, hop from one to the other and back again.
