Have I been lucky or is it too easy this week ? Had to use Google for one of the works. l always wonder how many attempts others make before winning a prize.

It was easy this week, truron. I'd never heard of the longer title, either. And won recently after mybe a year or two of trying. Not that it's worth winning , mind you, when you live in Europe: the bank takes over half the prize money in fees. So the best thing you can do is give it to some good cause in England. but surely nobody does these puzzles for the prize (tho' I admit I send some of them in). Perhaps I just like seeing the name of my little village here in a British paper occasionally.
