Hi annarbor.
82. Try reading the clue backwards and you will find 5 consecutive letters that are the name of a writer. Hope this helps.

Bit difficult to give a clue. It's almost the same as the middle name of the man who invented television with one letter less.

OK tirednan try these clues
77.book = novel + l (light) + o (opera)
92.Think of another meaning for 'a boater' which is actually a name for a summer show.
98. Love = 0 + per ( according to) + a + lass (girl)
31. Bur ( rub backwards) + let (allow) + ta ( soldiers.
70. Think of gin as 'trap' and thro' what do you make an entrance

Thanks so much winnie...so dense...31 had tried every abbrev. for soldiers except TA...92 had got that answer but did not realise it was a summer theatre, have nearly worn Wikipedia out looking!...98 had not got the per....70 had no idea....77 was stupidly looking for book title. Anyway, done now. Check for spelling mistakes when copying it out and then wait for the next one.
