This is not set up the same way as a typical crossword. I am stuck on 4 clues at the most. The answers can be written clockwise or counterclockwise. They are all 4 letter words. It can start anywhere in the box. The boxes are set up like a directional formal on a map N,E,S,W.

First clue: Busy Period (Letter R is at the N, U is at the E)
2nd clue: Big Loss (T is at the N)
3rd clue: Historic Robe (No letters given)
4th clue: Decree (I to the N, A to the E)

If three of the ones suggested, which all fit, that leaves one that ends in letters ATH. Which could be bath but never heard that definition. Is Bath defined as a big loss?
