Hi, Mamya! I wanted to make sure that you got my message (sent on original thread) thanking you for the link to the Dummies hints for cryptic crosswords. It was very helpful.
I even managed to complete yesterday's Times Quick Cryptic!! We've been out all day today so just about to look at today's puzzle.....

You are very welcome, there are many 'how to' sites out there - some better than others. I think it takes a while to get the feel of cryptics but when you do it becomes a lot clearer.
