Hi ya chrise,

i have had an assessor and surveyor and builder here for the last two hours --- looking at the damage, internal and external ----- have to now obtain revised quotes etc before we can move forward. Builder is v busy and it is looking at June when he can do the work, if it is sanctioned by the Insurance company. Ho hum ----- but the weather is wonderful, so that's nice.

Sounds like a big job bobs mum - I do hope the weather isn't too unkind to you in the interim :)

Hi Re,

It's more of a lot of fiddly jobs with lots of different things --- tiles, gutters, pipes, paving, window frames, re-painting inside and out, cracks etc etc --- they are arguing over costs and what can and can't be included. Bet it is costing a bomb to keep sending people out.

How's u ?

Yep, touch wood, all healthy here. We had a really good week away which re-charged the batteries after what has been a long wet, windy winter. However, the blossom is now out, the daffodils have sprouted and the local wood is covered in snowdrops and not long to wait for the bluebells.
I trust u are doing some housekeeping on the back of the bike sheds in my absence ????????? Won't be away too long -- promise --- still think woodpecker cider and Bensons are the way forward though !!!!
