Stuck on 2 clues. I think I must have made a mistake somewhere.

ANGELA - gel (style) in stories. I find there are a lot of clues like this where you think it's a possessive but it's really short for "woman is".

I'm stuck on just one and it's a thematic entry (so no clue) near the bottom left: SP_NG.

AS = BEING in the sense of "because, since".
