I entered PR last week ( so did Bobsmum in spite of a missing roof) and hope to tomorrow.
I think Kiwikid has gone back to full time work as she has not posted for a while.
We girls have always been in the minority, only 4/20 setting clues for JE last time.

Morning Re,

Thank you for asking, --- personally, i have been v busy this week with builders and big burly log cutting lumberjack types (be still my beating heart) who cleared /are clearing the tree from my garden and roof. They have done a fantastic job and it is only the enormous stump that is left. This has to be bored out with a machine, then chopped up and put into a giant shredder. The ground around the stump is v unstable and likely to subside --- very dangerous. Once this is all done the builders will move in to repair all the damage --- about 2 weeks worth. Fun, fun, fun.

We are going away for the week this Saturday while all that is happening with the stump, so, i will not be entering peer review tomorrow i will look in and maybe do a clue for fun.

Hope all is well behind the bike sheds X

Must be a great relief to be getting the work done, bobsmum.

I did find girlie rather an odd expression but no offence was taken. RE did refer to us as ladies in his first post.
I never mind being referred to as one of the girls as it makes me feel young.

I wasn't offended, just surprised that anyone would use such a word!

Evening

You can call me girlie anytime:) Would like to say I was doing lots of interesting things but unfortunately it is full time work, domestic activities and I like Samson - although I still have my hair - have completely lost the knack of setting cryptic clues and solving them. Mind you Samson isn't known for cryptic clues but you get my drift!

Hope you are well RE and thanks for asking. x

Rossim I am also still trying to complete JE:)

How nice to hear from you, Emrach - glad to hear you are still doing well. (Who said "the curse of the working classes"? - dear, dear Oscar, I think!)
