Need some help with the parsing for....

Sweep frost away from front of house (3) - OAR (As in 'Sweep Oar') I know 'Hoar' is Frost but then to get to OAR you would have to take the H in 'House' away from the the front of Hoar (Frost), but the clue says it the other way round - "Frost from front of house". I know I must be missing something blindingly obvious but for the life of me I can't see what.

I think that's just what it is: taking the rest of hoar away from H. Perhaps could have been more precise, but it does work.
