I would be interested to know if anyone else has the same problem with adverts. on this site, while using iPad. (There is no problem with laptop)
When clicking "Log in" an advert "axp.zedo.com" appears which takes over the whole screen. It is completely blank (white) and has to be closed several times before I can proceed to the forum.
When I eventually succeed , the same advert. pops up whenever I try to open a thread, or reply to post.
I have barred "pop ups" in "settings" but they still continue to annoy.

I have just googled this and it is a virus - if you google it - you will see a couple of sites with instructions on how to deal with it

I am now on the laptop as the problem is now even worse on ipad. I cannot even enter my password. So until this is finally solved, I am off to do some gardening :(

I'm on a desk top, and, while not having your specific problem, Jazz girl, I'm beset wih adverts wherever I go! they pop up everywhere on screen, no matter what I am doing - and yes, I do have pop-ups barred! Going crazy....any ideas, chrise?

try downloading adblock for you browser; it stops unwanted ads popping up.
it worked for me.

Lunchtime here. still not fixed problem on iPad and this is the only site where the virus pop up appears. I tolerate the adverts on laptop as this site is free and the adverts pay for it.

Pleased to report the vIrus has now been eliminated. Not sure how my friend managed to rectify the situation but I am very grateful.

Thank you, choosytoo. I downloaded Adblock for IE and it's worked a treat! We no longer are smothered by adverts!
