Having read of bobs mum & imagcq nasty recent experiences I wondered if anyone had some good news to cheer us all up!
I can't help thinking of some of the miserable experiences so many people have had so far this year.

No its all bad! Because the bad weather has affected my golf, my wife has had me redecorating the hall, stairs and landing.
Here's something that may make you smile. Early one morning a couple of weeks ago my wife and I went for a walk. We approached a gate with a couple of signs on it. One said, This is not a public right of way but walkers may use it. The other said. No horse riding. We were ambling along this beautiful lane which had trees forming an arch over it. When in the distance we saw what appeared to be two ponies being ridden down the lane. Tutting I was about to make some comment to my wife as these ponies got closer. But to our amazement they weren't ponies, they were Camels. They were so well behaved and their coats were so soft absolutely beautiful.

mrw: You mean the owner neglected to put up a "No Camel Riding" sign? Quite the oversight.

I'm happy to report that our house hasn't exploded, and we can still find it in all the snow. Lots of blue tits around, mrw. :)

Hi Aristo,
Lots of blue tits round here as well. Checking out the nesting box and eating me out of house and home. There are some birds on the feeder as well!!!

Bobsmum:
There were some Alpaca's in a field as we were walking down the lane. The camels lived there as well and were pets. Two humps and ridden as you would a horse, not as big as a one hump. Sorry for being tardy I was hanging wallpaper.
