LOL So kind of you Ros but I'm afraid I'll have to give it a miss! I live in sunny (well it was yesterday!) Devon. We have a chainsaw but it's a bit too far and we only have a small trailer. Pity. x

Well, if you're ever up this way, ask Les to forward a mail. You can pack a lot of wood into a small trailer!

I was born and bought up in Dorset, moved about a bit, but now live in south Devon.
It's a big county, the third largest in England and the only one with two coastlines. This might be of interest to any of you who do pub quizzes!

2 unconnected coastlines, to be pedantic! (Cornwall, for example, has a north and a south coast.)

But only one continuous coastline, surely? Maybe we should just agree to differ!

I think we are agreeing, rossim - Devon is the only county with two discontinuous coastlines; others (such as Cornwall) have two coasts, but they join up.
